Potkaly se na UMPRUM a společně vytvořily nezávislou módní značku s logem spirály, která je i jejich oblíbeným střihem. Tři podnikatelky a matky – Karolína Juříková, Kristýna Nováková a Monika Krobová – založily před třemi lety Overall Office.

Pracují jen s udržitelnými materiály – organickými textiliemi nebo deadstockovými zásobami. Jejich plavky jsou přitom šité z regenerovaných vláken z plastového odpadu nalezeného v mořích a na plážích. Račte si vybrat mezi plavkami s rafinovanými průstřihy nebo bikinami s dlouhým rukávem.

Umělkyně Petra Gherbetz se narodila na ostravském sídlišti. Od dětství přitom slýchávala, že jednou bude muset z Ostravy pryč. Výtvarnice s přezdívkou Sasanca se ale rozhodla zůstat a dát černouhelné pánvi módní značku ovlivněnou léty strávenými se street artem.

Z dílny brandu City Foklore pochází ikonické tričko s nápisem „Havel a nice day“, ale také výbava na koupaliště. Plavky v základní barevné paletě černé a tělové pak zdobí nápis „Vzali jste nám krajinu, bereme si město“.

Založit v zemi bez moře oděvní značku specializující se na výrobu plavek? Tenhle odvážný nápad si vzala za svůj Pavlína Miklasová, absolventka Ateliéru designu oděvu a obuvi na pražské UMPRUM, a ze svého projektu Plove vybudovala synonymum originálních českých plavek.

Jsou barevné, ale ne infantilní, výrazné, ale ne lascivní. Na vzorech Pavlína spolupracuje s českými malíři a ilustrátory, kteří jejím plavkách dávají nádech uměleckých děl. Plavky si lze vyzkoušet na vlastní kůži v letenském showroomu, kde je možné pořídit i oblíbené sandály z plavkoviny.

Fotograf Martin Feix založil značku Girls without clothes v roce 2013. Jeho prvním produktem byla trička, od nich se ale posunul k uceleným kolekcím městské módy. Patří do nich i plavky pro všechny, kteří se nestydí za své tělo. Sexy podprsenky i proklatě vysoko střižené plavkové kalhotky od značky GWC by jistě ocenila i plavčice C. J. Parker.
